Our Story

La Hacienda opened its first full-service restaurant in Dover, DE in 2015. Since then it has grown to three unique restaurants in the Kent County area. Welcome to our newest of those three locations in Downtown Dover on Loockerman.

Not all Mexican food is hot! All of our dishes are meticulously prepared with an authentic, yet mild flavor.  Our food is prepared fresh daily and our sauces are made from scratch using our own special recipes.

Since its opening, La Hacienda has created success by adapting traditional Mexican food to American taste using fresh ingredients and spices to create lighter, healthier, and more flavorful Mexican food using the highest quality chicken, seafood, and beef for all dishes taking pride in a scratch kitchen designing our restaurants with a modern, Mexican feel accepting only friendly service and high-quality food focusing on full service and take out business controlling quality and consistency by using premium vendors with high-quality standard focusing on guest satisfaction, team building, product excellence to lead in our market
